Goal Pre-requisites & Notes:
* This goal will trigger when you reach Level 46
* There are no pre-requisites to begin this storyline
* You can take as long as you like to complete these goals; you will only miss out on the timed prize if you do not complete this part in 7 days

* Complete Part 1 in 7 days to receive the Dark Elven Scout.
* As soon as you put on the craft in goal 9, the timed goal will complete and the Dark Elven Scout will be available to place. Timer 22 hours
* The Dark Elven Scout is only available if Part 1 is completed within 7 days
* Nalira is available to place immediately once you collect from the craft in goal 9
* Nalira is the reward completing Part 1 goals (regardless of how long it takes to complete this part). Timer 6 hours


* The Dark Elven Rider is in the Nature/Animals tab to purchase for 150 gems
* The 3 new plants are in the Nature/Plants tab (currently around page 12/13)

* Once Part 1 has been completed, the Dark Elven Hut has a 7 day craft permanent available which requires 5 golden egg | this craft returns 10 energy on collection + resources

* The Dark Elven Torch is also a rare drop from defeating the Dark Elven Rider, so you don't need to only wait for collections from Ivy's Hut
* The crafts and drops from the sawmill/sparking mine are not available in-between parts, so once you collect the Dark Elven Hut craft in goal 9 below they stop until you click on commencing Part 2 goals

Ruler: What is it now, Baron? Are you sick? You should really stay home.
Baron: The only thing I am sick of is your inability to take me seriously!
Ruler: What are you even talking about?
Baron: *Sniffle* You want to rule this land yet you do not ensure the safety of your most VALUABLE citizen by keeping up with the landscaping! There's a terrible weed growing on the boundaries of the Glimmerwood, and I'm TERRIBLY allergic!!! I demand you go clear these at once! How will I collect taxes in such a state? ACHOOO!
Ruler: Edge of the Glimmerwood - what were you doing out there?
Baron: Are you writing a book? Wait - actually - ARE you? I think that would be rather genius to write my life story.
Ruler: I think I'd rather go pull weeds...
* A short time later*
Ruler: Thanks for coming out here with me Thurston.
Thurston: Never a problem my liege! Happy to keep you safe.
Ruler: Well, I could actually use your sword. Apparently there's some kind of weed growing out here that the Baron's allergic to. I don't see anything though... Maybe it's growing in these bushes.

Goal 2:
Ruler: Whoa - who are you?
*Arrow zips past*
Thurston: My liege, I fear they do not want to talk...
Ruler: Alright, Thurston, let's handle this!

Goal 3:
Ruler: Who was that? Oh look, they dropped this... I've never seen a rock like this. Hey, Thurston, check out this rock. Um... Thurston?
Thurston: My liege... I do't feel so good...
Ruler: Oh no, Thurston you're hit!
Thurston: My...liege...
*Thurston collapses*

Goal 4:
Old Thomas: Oh hear, Young Ruler, what has happened here?
Ruler: We were attacked! Thurston was struck by an arrow... it looks like it only scratched him but he seems to have fallen ill!
Old Thomas: Attacked?
Ruler: Yes, they dropped this. It appears their arrow was forged from it.
Old Thomas: Dark Elvenite... Tell me, did the perpetrator have gray skin? Hair as white as the snow?
Ruler: They did...
Old Thomas: Oh no... I fear you encountered one of the Dark Elves. But it cannot be... they have not been around in over a hundred years...
Ruler: Have you seen a dark elf before?
Old Thomas: Young Ruler, I may have silver hair but I am not old enough to have seen a dark elf myself... This is awfully serious though, in the tales I have read the only way to do any meaningful combat with a dark elf is to use their own weaponry. It is a good think they dropped this ore.
Thurston: My...my liege..
Ruler: Thurston!
Old Thomas: I imagine the arrow that grazed Sir Thurston was poisoned... The dark elves are known for such trickery. I will do some research while you forge a weapon in case they return.

Goal 5:
Ruler: Alright, Thomas, I think I have a weapon that will work.
Old Thomas: you have returned, thank goodness. I fear Thurston has only gotten worse. According to my research we will need the aid of magic to cure him. Here is a list of basic ingredients, perhaps Ivy could conjure a cure with them.

Goal 6:
Ruler: How is he doing?
Ivy: Well, I was able to ease some of his symptoms with the materials I had on hand... But I'm afraid the cure Old Thomas found requires some ingredients I've never seen before.
Ruler: Yeah, these don't look familiar...
Old Thomas: I fear the only ones familiar with them may be the Dark Elves themselves.
Ruler: Well, it sounds like I need to pay someone a visit...
Unknown Voice: Sounds like WE need to pay someone a visit!
Ruler: Sabina?
Sabina: I'm ready to go when you are! No one hurts my Thursty! I'll show them!
Ruler: Sabina, it will be dangerous. Don't you want to stay here with Thurston?
Sabina: As much as I want to, I must ensure he gets the help that he needs. Plus, Thurston has saved me plenty of times! It's one of the many reasons I love him so much. The least I can do is return the favor now and again.
Ruler: Alright... Just stick close to me.

Goal 7:
Ruler: Wow, what is this place?
Sabina: Look at these pretty flowers! ACHOO!!
Ruler: These must be the flowers the Baron saw...be careful Sabina, don't touch anything.
Sabina: Hey, what's that over there?
Ruler: It looks like a house. I wonder if anyone's there? We should come up with a plan to...
Sabina: Why, I'll show them! mess with my Thursty... Here comes Sabina!
Ruler: Sabina...wait! Come back! Oh boy...

Goal 8:

Ruler: Sabina! Watch out!
Sabina: Oh, you think that arrow scares me? Get over here you little...
Ruler: Sabina, wait!

Ruler: Wow. I've never seen a high heel used as a weapon before.
Sabina: Told you I would be fine. I just wish I got one more hit in before they got away.
*The sound of hand clapping echoes*
Ruler: Who...who are you?!
Dark Elf (Nalira): I might ask you the same question. You are in my lands after all. I haven't seen humans in quite some time.
Ruler: You people... they came into our lands and hurt our friend.
Dark Elf: You must be mistaken. Dark Elves never venture into the Glimmerwood. We haven't for hundred of years.
Ruler: When, someone did. And we're certain they were a dark elf. They looked just like the one who attacked us just now!
Dark Elf: Come, let us speak. Tell me more of this dark elf you saw.

* Only Willow trees work in this storyline to drop Elvenessence, however the 3 new plant items also drop Elvenessence
* Do NOT give any resources to the next expansion plot related to Part 3 even though they are accessible in Part 2. If you do, then you will need to collect additional resources to clear the goal 7 in Part 3

* Complete Part 2 in 30 days to receive the Dark Elven Archer
* As soon as you put on the craft in goal 10, the timed goal will complete and the Dark Elven Archer will be available to place. Timer 12 hours
* The Dark Elven Archer is only available if Part 2 is completed within 30 days
* Rizzl is available to place immediately once you collect from the craft in goal 10
* Rizzl is the reward completing Part 2 goals (regardless of how long it takes to complete this part). Timer 22 hours

Ruler: ...And after that, they ran off.
Nalira: I see. It does indeed sound like you encountered one of my people.
Ruler: Can you think of any reason why they'd be coming into the Glimmerwood?
Nalira: There have been whispers of Erlkonig... he seeks power and resources.
Sabina: And we know the Glimmerwood is rich in both! Especially shiny jewels!
Nalira: Erlkonig's ambitions have split us, I didn't think he had the manpower to act on them. Some follow him blindly, but others see the danger in his plans.
Ruler: Is there no one to challenge his power?
Nalira: The princess. but she's been missing. I fear the potential he may be involved somehow...

Goal 3:
Nalira: Erlkonig promises strength, but at what cost? Many of us do not wish for conflict.
Sabina: But why hasn't anyone stopped him?
Nalira: Fear can be a strong motivator, even among my people.
Ruler: I need to tell you something important. One of our own, Thurston, was struck down by an arrow. It was crafted by your people and now lies ill... If there's any chance to save him, we have to try.
Nalira: Erlkonig's actions have limited access to these plants, but if we disrupt his hold, access to them could be restored.

Goal 4:
Dark Elven Rider: YOU SHOULDN'T BE HERE!
Nalira: Stand down. We don't mean harm unless forced.
Dark Elven Rider: Who are you to speak so boldly in Erlkonig's domain?
Nalira: We're here to bring an end to the chaos him ambitions have unleashed. Erlkonig's actions impact us all, are you loyal to him, or to our people?
Dark Elven Rider: Erlkonig brings strength and order. My loyalty is to the one who leads us into power.
Nalira: So be it...

Goal 5:
Ruler: Now... where were we? If we can cut off Erlkonig's influence, maybe we can mend this rift. How do we do it?
Nalira: The Princess... her absence fuels his power. We need to find out what happened to her.
Sabina: A princess rescue?! My favorite!!
Nalira: The Princess was well-loved and seen as a symbol of hope. Erlkorig knew that by removing her, he could manipulate the situation to his advantage.
Ruler: The people would be confused, lost without her leadership.
Nalira: Exactly. With her gone, Erlkonig seized the opportunity to present himself as a stabilizing force. He speaks of strength and prosperity, but his methods are cruel.
Sabina: First he hurts my Thursty THEN he's also a princess-napper? Let's take him down!

*Meanwhile in the Glimmerwood*
Ivy: It's been a while, and Thurston isn't getting any better... What if something's happened to them? What is they can't find the cure?
Old Thomas: We must have faith in them, they know what is at stake.
Ivy: But every moment counts... there is only so much we can do without the ingredients...

Goal 6:
Nalira: The path to Erlkonig's base is not straightforward.
Ruler: What makes it so dangerous?
Nalira: Erlkonig has stationed patrols throughout that area, each as alert as the next.
Sabina: We have to be sneaky then.
Ruler: How do we avoid detection?
Nalira: The key is to move quietly and strike only when necessary. Distraction can be our best friend.
Sabina: So, we slip through the shadows.
Nalira: Exactly, but be ready to act on instinct.

Goal 7:
Nalira: The first step is to locate an entry point that's less guarded.
Ruler: Are there any hidden paths we can use?
Nalira: Indeed, there are ancient tunnels around the Dark Elven Outpost, long forgotten by most.
Sabina: And they'll lead us directly under Erlkonig's fortress?
Nalira: Precisely. We can avoid the main gates and emerge closer to where the Princess is held.
Ruler: Alright. We move at dusk. That's when we'll have the greatest advantage.

Goal 8:
Ruler: Keep close. The outpost is just ahead.
Dark Elf: INTRUDERS!
Ruler: No time for hiding now.
Sabina: Looks like we're in for a fight.
Ruler: Let's make quick work of them. We can't let them alert the entire outpost.

Goal 9:
Nalira: Hold on, I see a familiar stance. This archer... we used to stand side by side against Erlkonig's plans.
Sabina: Do you think you can convince them to let us pass?
Dark Elven Archer: DON'T COME ANY CLOSER!!
Nalira: Lower your bow... It's been too long. Do you still walk the path of resistance?
Dark Elven Archer: You have some nerve coming back here, old friend. Erlkonig doesn't take kindly to dissent.

Goal 10:
Nalira: Please, old friend, I do not wish to cause you any further harm...
Dark Elven Archer: You have made your choice... Erlkonig will not take kindly to this news...
Sabina: Hey, come back here! We're not done with you!
Ruler: Calm down, Sabina... Where is he going? Who was that? How do you know him?
Nalira: We were part of a group that stood against Erlkonig's oppressive rule.
Ruler: Resistance from within? I didn't realise there were others...
Nalira: Erlkonig's grip has divided our people. Some of us saw the truth and fought back in secret.
Ruler: So, there are still allies here?
Nalira: They're few and hidden. Many have been silence or forced to serve, but hope remains.
Ruler: It's good to know we aren't alone in this.
Nalira: We have more support than it seems. In fact, I may know someone who can help us.

Get out your red mushroom circles.

First chop a rock outcropping, and collect from a red mushroom circle.

Make sure no monster is on your board; the red mushroom circles spawn. After defeating it, you visit Old Thomas. Then you need 12 of their dark elvenite fight droppings (plus silver and jewels) for the first craft in the Magic Forge.



The first Value Pack has 15 min unlimited energy, and enough dark elvenite to craft a bow immediately.

If you are at a part in the storyline where you spawn a lot of Dire Boars, this step will be difficult since the red mushroom circles also spawn them.
