It's been a long, long time since I've had anything to spend crowns on and I suspect this is the case for most high level players.
I've only been playing about 18 months, and even I am getting tired of crowns. I also wish that there were an animal for the final goal instead of scrolls. Either an animal or a bunch of gold tokens.
