Same or similar experience here. I purchased the Astronomical Clock Tower and then collected from ponds as instructed. But a rollback undid my purchase of the Tower, so the ponds didn't give me any Stellar Scraps, and then I had to purchase the Tower again, but I couldn't collect from my ponds again for another 10 minutes. It really made no sense that it registered that I visited the ponds but not that I had purchased the Tower.
Also, the dialogue is all messed up. Makes it difficult to read.

Wells work as ponds. Workshops are busy so can’t go further for a bit.

S8 hope you're monitoring, when you added the stellar scrap to the wells, you took away the onyx ore, please add it back in.
