While I am not a player who is personally affected by this outrageous change, it still makes me think s8 are fast becoming the type of company I'm not comfortable supporting.

I am, literally, out of words to try and explain players' point of view to the team on this matter so I guess I'll give up.

I feel your frustration Annira. You're so passionate about this community, and have done so so much.

I used to purchase gems occasionally as I had received some gift cards to be used for games. I have not purchased any for many years. I have been playing 12+ years. I think I joined the forum around that time but had been playing the games for a while. I am involved in a lot of volunteer organizations and support family and friends who require rides, errands to be done or someone to listen. I have had to take breaks when life got busy or the games were too stressful. I play to relax, not to have more stress. I do not even try to reach the goals. If I do that is fine but my goal is to open up the recipes. I will not support S8 by purchasing gems.

I appreciate all those who post goals and offer advice. I would have stoppped playing long ago without the forums.

I do not understand the mindset of the company. They seem to be testing the waters to see what our breaking point is.

Many of my long time neighbours have disappeared. I check their bakeries and see mouldy food or empty shops or only basic appliances or older decor.

The 5 day goal requirements and the new side goal requirements are a real disappointment. Ironically, back when we had 30 day goals and new ovens each week that could be purchased for coins, I used to spend real money on the game quite frequently. When Team Lava had the game you could get new recipes without having to do a goal. I would buy gems for deco but never had to use them to complete a goal. Now with 3 goals at once and raised requirements it is clear that things are only going to continue to get worse.

I am a grown woman that can choose not to play but I have invested years into the game and still have a few long time neighbors left. It is sad that something that used to make me so happy now just keeps letting me down.
