Spent gems to finish evolving and in the nest it was back to ready to evolve

Hi, I spent gems to finish evolving my Headless dragon because one of the bingo goals was to breed with one. I had bred two in a row and had just put the second one in the breeding den. I tried exiting out of the game and restarting it but it still showed it was ready to evolve at level 3 so I hit the evolve button hoping it would fix itself but now I have two 20 hour dragons evolving. I shouldn't have to spend gems again. I was working on a double bingo please fix it ASAP. thank you
