Why does Geo the Brave cost 250 gems, instead of crowns, if he's a citizen, and has no drops? That's the only version of him that is in my sale items.

All citizens that haven't come from events or were introduced with a new story are gem purchases.I guess it's good for players to have choice over items missed even if does mean gems. Each to their own but I only have a couple of citizen faeries out now cause having all citizens out used to make my game crash. I say all of that to say the gem purchase is not an error.

So I inadvertently took one for the team by purchasing Geo The Brave. Did I fail to follow the golden rule of castle story and come check the forum first? Yes, yes I did. (Face palm) I assumed 250 gems with an 8hr timer and only 181 in coins would be a daily energy dropper or a trade ticket dropper. I was wrong. He is also not a Walker, thankfully that would have been worse for me I do not keep walkers out to prevent rollbacks. Here is the run down. 8hr timer and dropped exactly 181 coins and nothing else. He is an odd size, smaller than most I will attach a pic and he is not animated. Gives a toy soldier vibe. No movement at all. I will keep collecting see if anything else drops, but so far looks like maybe he was part of a set or goes with something else and if you did not get him during the event it would have been on the tragic side so some peeps might really want him? Not sure, will resume checking the forum first. Though not the worst purchasing mishap I have done, it is probably in the top 10, lol but I have been playing since the year the game started, if it does not involve you chopping aspen trees for a year or make you bake 60 sweet feasts, it can be laughed off.
Let me ask the team about this item. That sounds too odd! And we don't have duplication of people in 2 different ways. Leave it with me and thanks for posting. I'll provide that to S8 and ask for more info.
@jaxporter: further to above, this was indeed a coding error and Geo is definitely a kingdom citizen. The item has now been fixed to reflect the correct functionality.
For those that purchased this item, Geo will either be walking around your kingdom or in the Town Square to place. If you already have Geo as a kingdom citizen (cause it's max 1) a different fix was out in place which you should notice in your game. Reach out by private message if you want more info on that.

I really, truly, hope they can eventually recreate ALL of the characters from heroes to villains and down to the cats. I honestly can't think of the last time I was so hyped for a preview.....
