New animals in July - 2018 Jul 6

With the amount of time left it almost seems like they're forcing us to do an extra event to get the "monthly" which will make that monthly way too expensive, s8 is getting so greedy. They see people try for monthly so they up the cost to players. I hope that's not the case but if it is I'm done with a game that sucks you dry to achieve anything. I'm done buying your gems essentially paying for animals to store, it's too much and S8 continues to push the greediness.

Since chromeleon had balloons instead of crates which would have been enough to complete the chromaticat, it's possible they throw a crate tournament up on Friday for completion, that's the only way it would make sense and it'd have to have 2702 points possible at the minimum for 100%

Question to mods please:

I won leaderboard, got all milestones in world event, placed all 3 of the trio, bred all specials, completed tournaments (spent many gems doing this all month) done with storybook.. After every event for July my points for Chromaticat is only 86% 17298 crates. So 2702 short, which is a LOT. I just noticed Chromaticat timer says 27 days, so question is.. Is that timer wrong? Was time added for another month to achieve July animals? Did they miscalculate July points? Was the chromeleon tournament suppose to have crates not balloons? Is there something coming in July before July is over to achieve 2702 points? This is the first time I've completed all events and been short on points. Can someone please find out what's going on? Thank you

Ps if this is on purpose and we are meant to pay for the remaining points, after spending gems all month, I refuse.

The July month event is until July 31st. We usually get extra days for completing the task as well as to decide to purchase but the drops stop on July 31st. I am checking on timer and finding out more on the points.

Rynetory, here are some screen shots that may help. I just took them this morning 7/23/18. We have been playing for the 2 animals monthly for several months now and after completing the events and tourneys we would get both animals. An error has been obviously made and I dont think we should have to pay extra just to get what we already earned. Thanks

Please let us know if there has been any news regarding this issue? I should have been earning points from mining, but it has not registered, my score remains stuck at 86% for days now. Thank you.

You've already helped by alerting them to the situation I figure letting them know ahead of time will give them the opportunity to remedy the situation before the August animal items are produced, so they can throw in a limited breedable or 3 day tournament from the 27th to 31st to get us to 100%. Will check back in to see if they offer you any information! Thanks again

I can't believe that there is still no word from S8 on this matter since it was brought to their attention at least 2 days ago.

The current tournament still has 8 days so if it goes til Tuesday July will be over, I'm not sure what they can do where we can get 2702 points or if they'd compensate us the remaining points. I realize they don't work on weekends and got the notice of the problem yesterday, but I do hope they let us know something.
