You need to make 1 garden kit which requires 7 gloves, 4 watering cans and 10 succulent pieces. You also need to give 7 succulent vases and 6 succulent lanterns.

With the Cactus Flowers not dropping, it's going to take me forever to even get to Goal 3, let alone start crafting everything. Oh, well...

Where is the garden kit made? Is it a new recipe that appears for the Succulent Stand, or at another building?

Anyone know how the event boost works?

The Hanging Succulent is animated and drops Succulent Pieces, Cactus Proof Gloves, and Watering Pots when you collect from it. The birds flying around it means it's ready to collect. You can collect from it every 7 hrs. Take note that the drops do not accumulate. You need to collect from it before the timer counts down.

I agree. And since the crops boost doesn't work on event crops/items, that's all we can do...wait.
