Thurston: M Liege, come quick! there is an issue of utmost importance emerging!
Ruler: What is it, Thurston?

Thurston: Well, yes... but these ones are being creepier than normal!
Ruler: How can monsters be any creepier than they normally are?
Thurston: The way that they are moving... it's as if they are possessed... Watching them was so terrifying.
Old Thomas: By jove! That does not sound like the usual monsters we see pass our thoroughfare. The spirits in our realm are predominantly friendly, and not of the malevolent sort. Perhaps an investigation is needed.
Ruler: Alright, let's go check it out. Lead the way, Thurston!

Thurston: It's not?
Ivy: No, silly! Well, if they are possessed, it's just by the music! Isn't all this dancing a blast?! This is the best party I've ever thrown!

Ivy: That's dancing, Thurston! I can't believe Sabina's never made you dance. Well, now is as good a time as any to learn! I invited all these monsters here... even some really old monsters, ones we haven't seen in years and years! I'm sure you can learn a watusi or two as these monsters show up!

Ivy: Sorry to give you a fright, Thurston! I didn't think so many monsters would show up. I couldn't just invite a handful of monsters. So I sent an open invitation! It's Halloween! i thought that by inviting our resident monster dance with us, it's be seen as a gesture of goodwill. And it's offer us all a chance to have some fun!
Ruler: They definitely seem to have taken full advantage of the invite, Ivy.
Ivy: Monsters know all the new dances. I just had to invite them, Ruler! Well, I had to invite them and promise that we would dance with them!

Monster trap is suppose to be 2000 coins mine are 5 gems each any one else having this issue

No, the Dance Floor is a crafting building. If you place it, it gives you 4 pets you can craft by fighting recycled monsters from past events. Each pet requires 75 Monster Music that come from the spawns we fight. Downside is that Thurston's Fort or the 5g trap seem to be the only way to spawn these monsters to fight.

Thanks SW for posting what you have so far. I sure hope they will give you more info. I have a lollipop that says nothing about what it’s for, just a treat. And cursed fur that says it’s to summon a wily werebeast pet, but it’s not in the options for the dance floor.

The Monster Dance Floor costs 2000 Coins, the Monster Music Traps cost 5 gems. You can earn Monster Music Traps from completing quests, or you can visit Thurston's Fort to receive a monster spawn that will give you Monster Music.

The monsters that spawn from Monster Music Traps are older event monsters who have returned on Ivy's invitation. They will drop Monster Music when you defeat them.

Yep, i went ahead and bought the dance floor, but that’s what i was noticing about the monsters - the dance floor doesn’t spawn them, it’s just for crafting. Oh well, wasted coins and energy for that one

I will say though, i already have 10 music and only fought 2 monsters. I might be able to get a couple of the pets lol

I need to spawn a bunch of fangbeasts for the Council/Academy goals so I will try to get the dancing witch fangbeast. The drops of Monster Music seem pretty generous per monster, so hopefully doesn't take too long.
