Hello. Did it ever the ancient owl appeared as an offer or as any chance to be able to get it?
I just returned to the game after almost 2 years of not playing but sporadic energy collections and lost the opportunity to get it.

At what level does this questline unlock?
I'll check on this as I didn't realise I didn't have this info as yet... will take a couple of days but will let you know when I do.
update: you need to be level 30.

As always, thank you ShibuyaCloth for doing the math. The big picture of how many pieces total is a lifesaver!
I thought the poisoned wood and poisoned maps were energy intensive ... but having collected a bunch (thanks to weekday warrior and focused effort on toxic spirits), I find what's really ****ing me now is enchanted essence! There are only 3 in each compass, so it's only 63 for 21 compasses. But I can never keep essence on hand - I use it up for various things. And it's a crafted item: making one requires 5 glimmerdust and 5 mermaid scales. So to make 63 I have to collect 315 glimmer dust and 315 mermaid scales. (And for some reason, ponds and fountains always know when you are desperate, lol.)
Because of unicorns, I always have plenty of Spellbound Dew. And for some reason, plenty of Ivy's Antidote - I never seem to use them. For me, needing normal collections of 80 jewels and 80 silver pales in comparison to needing 315 glimmerdust and 315 mermaid scales, lol. I guess panic always depends on how far "behind" I am when it's time to craft.
I guess the top post is meant to summarize the expansions released, but it does not include the requirements for squares to be unlocked before that square as seen in ShibuyaCloth's table. And the "open anytime, no goal" doesn't reflect that those "optional" squares are indeed required in the next Part of the quest.
Shouldn't it include that? It could read like this, with the underlined parts added:
This is meant as a respectful suggestion so that it's clearly summarized which plots are required.Expansion Information

Starting at the left plot and working toward the sea.
Part 1:
2nd row of land (eg row I, column minus 1)
J -1: 35 mithril, 45 spellbound dew, 5 Ivy's antidotes, 8 wind chimes | 1st plot released and unlocks the Prevailian Temple
I -1: 3000RP, 400,000 coins, 50 wisp lanterns, 5 expansion permits | 2nd plot released when adjacent plot J -1 opened (open anytime it's available, not required until Part 2)
Part 2:
Edge row of land (eg row J, column minus 2)
I -2: 30 spellbound dew, 25 Ivy's antidotes, 8 wind chimes, 21 water compasses | Requires plot I-1 be unlocked first | 3rd plot released and unlocks the Laminary Temple
J -2: 3000RP, 500,000 coins, 50 wisp lanterns, 6 expansion permits | 4th plot released when adjacent plot I -2 opened (open anytime it's available, not required until Part 3)
Part 3:
K -2: 35 Ivy's antidotes, 10 wind chimes, 10 water compasses, 20 earth talismans | Requires plot J-2 be unlocked first |5th plot released and unlocks the Sublunaral Temple
L -2: 3000RP, 400,000 coins, 50 wisp lanterns, 5 expansion permits | 6th plot released when adjacent plot K -2 opened (open anytime it's available, no specific goal associated)
Because I have no life and no decent software, I also made this extremely crude visual from SC's map:

Thanks for the feedback, that must have taken you ages! I've made an additional note, very similar to what you have written.
Sorry if this is already in the thread - 700 posts is too many to check, lol. So I'm just making a note here; I will try to remember to submit to Hub feedback when I get the third datum. For:
* Tend a blue-flower penstemon
* Tend a talinum auranticum
Shrubs work for both. Although I had white poppy shrub and white trillium shrub out, I forgot to test them and went for the single flower, lol. Since the same request for flowers occurs in the Candy Kingdom quest, I will hopefully remember to test those as well when I get around to part 3 of that one. I'm glad it's not a fantastic prize ... I will be whipped after Elemental III.
Setting a timer for sawmills and mines - I have enough resources to get everything else eventually, but 900 poison jewels from a timed resource almost feels like a bottleneck! I'm sure with 45 days it won't be that hard, but you know, paranoia. :-)
(EDIT: if I get 2 from each, that's 8 per round; 900/8 is 112 rounds; x3 hours is 347 hours; /24 is 14 days if you set a timer every 3 hours. Which only a nut would do. Naturally, I'm doing it, lol.)
(UPDATE 24 Feb 2023: it has taken 27 days, using alarms to collect frequently but not always. Sometimes you get only 1 per resource.)
(p.s. I LOVE my Ancient Octopus - guaranteed mithril is great, but guaranteed mithril every eight hours is even better!! I hit 99 for the first time ever!!)

I am stucked in part 2 goal 7. I did the expansion to the temple, but it wouldn’t open. I did a restart several times. When I want to do the expansion, it seems as if it is already expanded, but when I try to open it, it says, do the expansion. Don’t know what to do.
