Search & Rescue, Part 3

I am on Step 2b "Scorched Search". The castle adventure "Find a Trail" is dropping nothing, in spite of repeated attempts. The prize after Step 3a is the Faerie Pond, but I already received it even though I didn't reach that step yet.

Did my game accidently drop it from the castle adventure and now I'm stuck with "Find a Trail" that will never get recorded as completed? Do I keep doing the (so far unsuccessful) adventures?

I play on an iPhone 12, always do my updates, and don't usually experience any bugs.

I think you just have to keep sending the adventure, Lila doesn't always drop right away.

The discussion thread for this storyline can be found HERE if you'd like to see more info/details. There's posts throughout the thread on that particular goal but specifically the last few pages of the thread have several players noting they sent out 10-15 adventures before she dropped for them.
