The Cloud Troll does not drop event items, it simply raises your chances of finding the event items from their sources. Specifically, the troll should boost your odds of finding Mysterious Matter and the orange, yellow, green and blue wispies. An example would be the wispies from the chickens - without the troll, it might take a player ten chickens to get a single wispie but with the troll the number of chickens needed to get that single wispie should be lowered. In past events I've found that the results vary from realm to realm so it's likely the boosted drops will be different for each player.

Oh I see, thank you for your help. Your explanation was great.

I see they have changed the misleading advert now, as on the original advert there were the coloured wisps underneath it and said it dropped the event items.
