I do wish there could be a better balance between the amount of items needed for low and high level players. Typically the amount of resources and items needed for low and high level players is significant. IMHO I believe some high level players don’t necessarily have a lot of resources or are able to spend money on gems and value packs. Again I wish there could be a better balance for all players regarding resources and events (i.e. take away the LB Monster Hunts and bring back the Monster Hunts where we could could earn old tokens for prizes). I have three dolls (for 3 days) and only 12 threads. I won't make it so there isn't really any point in trying. The drop rate is stupid since they cost so much to make. It's a crappy return on investment and a slap in the face to loyal players.

you need 4! Drop rate is 50%, hence it will take ~9 days to get the full house. With 3, 12 days.

The Telekenetic Threads are making me crazy!! I am definitely getting less than a 50% drop rate. For awhile, I thought there was something wrong with my game but then I finally got a 2nd thread. Reading this discussion, I see it's not supposed to be 100% drop rate. I only have 2 threads so far with 4 fiesty dolls. Is this happening to others?

Ive collected for almost 2 days and have received 0 treads! I finally have all 4 dolls so we will see what happens now! So you are not alone!

I have 14/35 threads with 4 dolls. But I'm at the point of saying "Whatever". I'm not going to stress over it. Bigger things in life. I'll keep plugging along. I got everything else ready, so I welcome the 6 hour breaks.
Adding: Niko, I'm astounded by the 2 days and 0 threads. I sincerely hope drops will get better for you. That's just not right for a player to have that happen.

I'm a bit disappointed that we have to purchase both of the splashscreen items shown instead of winning one and having the option to buy the other. It's bad enough that there are regularly expensive items to buy that have a short storyline (eg Library folks) but we're expected to buy items that used to be included, instead 'winning' decos with drops that are already in good supply. Seems to me that there is going to be little or no free play sooner rather than later. If we have to spend gems to purchase event characters please include a caution gem spend button so we're not losing them in unintentional touches of the screen!

I was surprised by this as well and almost made a comment about it. Typically the splash screen items are items that we win, not that we buy.

That being said, I can't be bothered with this event, so I was glad to be able to just shuck over some coins for these creepy little weirdos. I don't typically like dolls, at all!, but these are cool - the looks, the animation, all of it.

On a completely unrelated note...........can sure tell SW isn't around right now. I would have been run out of town if I said some of the things in this thread.

I totally agree !!!! And i'm glad to see someone else thinking the same about the unintentional touching of the screen wich usually ends in spending gems you didn't want to spend ! I'm al for a 'are you sure'-button in between!

I have to work hard for my gems! I play almost from the beginning of this game and the first years i could help myself with the gem'drops from the adventures. But they are a rare thing for a long time now! I get very few from adventures. So i have to make them , wat costs 3 nuggets and for nuggets i have to fight to get! So it's hard to get gems and i really hate that i spend gems unintentional !

And i agree with another post about the ridicoulus differences between low and high.
We all need the same event-items ! We all have 24 hours in a Day and woulk like to use some of them to sleep and need some of them to work ! So how is a high level more capable getting even more event-items than a low level?

This totally blows my mind every time i see the huge differences !!!

I'm a high level .. (i play from the start of this game many years ago. what would it be nice to get higher than 50. I can only dream i'm afraid) (Why do i even get experience points?) And i really don't have more than 24 hours in a Day! I work : i'm not able to play at work, that are at least 8 hours lost. I have to sleep , again at least 7 hours. I have a personal life .. some more hours ...

How am I supposed to be capable of more collecting?

Point is: events are all about time and we all have only 24 hours

Those little Fiesty Figurines seem like they could be very beneficial to future game play. So even if a person doesn't get all their thread,( but I hope y'all do) you could end up with something good. Sometimes it's the little things that can be nice to have for game progress

But that workshop crafting place was basically.... weird and now useless

I have all 4 dolls and only 8 threads. I will be going to sleep before I can collect again. It's not right to have a 6 hour timer, a maximum of 4 and 50% or less of a drop rate without at LEAST having a quest or something to get more.

Often if enough people complain Storm8 does something to tweak the issue but it is annoying experiencing their level of greed. I saw you can only make 4 dolls and I think it is totally wrong to still have the craft for the expensive arm available. A couple weeks ago I accidentally sent off the Elven Outpost with a boatload of gold nuggets. THAT is also VERY WRONG. Yes it's my fault for not paying enough attention but a huge number of golden nuggets should NEVER be in the list. The one today wants glimmer dust that I usually have loads of but tons are needed for this event.
