5 Soundproof Beams (you make these in the Boom Box)
5 microphones (random drop from planes)
5 Subwoofers (random drop from planes)

Am on iOS (iPad) and can't see ANY upgrade available for scarecrow band ... What's up with that? I have clicked on the band stage and there is NO upgrade or unlock button at all to do the upgrade. I have PLENTY of spare parts (subwoofers, microphones, etc) so THAT shouldn't be the issue. The upgrade is the only thing I need to complete this goal. Help anyone? I did check my app and there are no pending updates so THATS not the issue either. Appreciate any input on this. I enjoy playing and have played for years but don't know what I'm missing here on this particular event.

To upgrade the stage in this event, you'll need to unlock a crafting slot to the building. If you start making a Tape in the band, you'll see a purple button appear that says Unlock. Tapping that will show you the upgrade option.

About the tapes
Tapes take 2 hours to make in the Scarecrow Band
1 hour in the Boom Box
Playing the tape in the Boom Box will get you a random item:
Random number of Sheet music or event items

Making tapes in the Scarecrow Band gives a set number of sheet music
Slot 1 and 2 are in the Scarecrow Band when it arrives.
1 sheet music from a tape
Numbers increase substantially if you open more slots in the Scarecrow Band.

20 sheet music
Slot 6
40 sheet music
Slot 7
65 sheet music

My above numbers are based on platinum Tapes.

The advantage in the beginning to platinum Tapes is they return 3 soundproof Beams important for upgrading the Scarecrow Band. BUT you have to use 5 music notes to make 1 platinum tape

So keep sending those planes and refresh any item that too long to make or not easy to find in the paper or neighbours stores.

I hate planes but flying this many helps to level up.

The way this world event was done is new to us and a learning curve.
Let's give it a chance and see how it goes.

One of the things I like about you is that you're really good at setting expectations by doing all this math for us. And for people like me, personally, cuz I'm math-challenged, which is why I'm a writer and not an accountant, it makes a big difference in helping me know what I'm doing! So, thank you!

You have to have a tape making in one of the first two slots to see the UNLOCK button
