Got a mint egg from my purple flowers

I got a purple egg from the Tavern, yellow eggs from Conservatory and Jeweller.

Every time you run out of energy the 'buy energy with gems' window pops open, and your finger presses it automatically.

My game automatically updated
but the "good" thing is now I can actually watch those videos and earn one gem a day... lol

What the heck happened??? I used to watch videos to get gems and now i am getting flour, wood, 2 energy and sugar.... I am full on all of those crappy items.... I WANT MY GEMS BACK or I won't watch videos anymore. What a waste to get a bag of stupid flour!!!

Not sure if anyine mentioned it yet, but the maple trees also drop eggs (sometimes multiple).

Different trees seem to drop different eggs.

I have read all of the posts from players about the changes with watching videos. I suggest that you leave feedback about this in the right forum, the Suggestion & Feedback forum. Please do not derail this thread with more posts about videos. All off topic posts about videos will now be removed.

Please also note the following:
1. I've asked about the bunny basket only dropping XP
2. I've forwarded feedback about unlinking the buy gems screen when you reach 0 energy and this has been passed back to the Dev Team already. Let's hope this decision is reversed.

3. I have received a PM which says: Once you place the bunny, the ability to craft more jewelled eggs disappears rending the new glimmer egg forge obsolete and the crafts disappear from the magic forge. I am checking about this as well.

I note it says in the 1st post that you need to upgrade to v1.5. I haven't done this yet but still have the event and am getting pink eggs ( slowly :-) ).

When will me being on the earlier version stop me progressing? Given the gem trap being reported, I am reluctant to upgrade unless I have to.
