All levels of Pirate Tavern are 4 hour collection... That would come in handy on future quests IF Storm8 would always count them as normal taverns BUT if history is any indication(special ponds, etc) the pirate tavern may very well NOT count.

Other complication is it takes up a town building slot so if we don't know for sure it'll count its hard to keep more than one around... unless someone needs the coins I guess.

It starts when you click on the start button in top right corner or I think automatically starts tomorrow.

So I understand that the event doesn't require the pirate tavern to go beyond level 3 but if we upgrade it all the way are the drops better? Will we still be able to upgrade it after the event ends since it doesn't require event parts to upgrade?

I don't know about drops, but yes you can treat it as any other building and upgrade to level 4+ at your leisure.

I've created a post 1 which amalgamates everyone's posts. Thanks so much for posting the steps. I'm 2 days behind, so I'll add the dialogue etc as I go and fill in any little hits and tips for anyone at the same stage as me.
