not that I can remember.. we've always reached to the final community prize.

That's because the counter is automatically adding whether players collect or not. It adds a certain number of items per hour.

That's what I think. I stopped collecting after earning the last individual prize. It would be fun to get a large number of players to stop to test this theory.
