please remember trick(s) from prior events. attempt to spawn a cat with only 1 energy remaining. the probability will be very high if done this way for the mine or old thomas. i'm having no issue spawning cats.. but with only 1 energy to get them to spawn, i have to wait for energy to refill to dispatch them. however, this is not an issue as each mine is on a 3-1/2 hr timer and old thomas on a 2 hr timer. in between collect lassos and flowers.

CAT SCRATCH FEVER,,, the event just started 29 hours ago. I understand there is no instant win here but,
I'm not getting any Shadow Cats from the SPARKLING MINES,,,29 hours,, and I bumped a few gems in to speed things up!
It didn't work! It's a bummer to have so many nbrs turn off CS and to a different game.
pls turn the cats loose and let's play!!

The Feral lands bring back the multi-colored hedges.

Gold mines are a gem purchase. They drop various gold items.

Perhaps they think that we will just buy tons of Shadow Lynx Traps? I know that I won't. I'm happy to spend money on certain game features, but not this.

Actually, this is something I don't mind spending $6.99 for. Still way cheaper than other bad habits or anxiety medicine. Besides who doesn't want a couple of scrappy black kitties with gorgeous green eyes, that help you out, too?

Just did an approximate calculation: my thought for minimum requirements could be - 865 lassos, 400 pelts & 1475 wild flowers!!
At least we have 20 days to complete.
Does anyone know if crafted Lynx drop pelts? Not sure if its worthwhile if it doesn't.

A day in and I already have 706 lassos. So it doesn't really seem too bad when you think about it. I read further back that a crafted Lynx drops horseshoes.

Yes, the lynx drops fur, jewels, silver ore, and 10 horseshoes every 8 hrs. Pretty sweet.

I have over 400 lasso and 200 wild flowers but the pelts are the bottleneck so it's pointless to get that many flowers and lasso

Another collection:

Used up most energy, with three left, I tapped on the 2 mines and Old Thomas. The music changed! Yay! I got a.... wild boar.

But S8 says there is nothing wrong with their programming. Conclusion - lynx is a super rare, not random, spawn designed to get us to spend and buy lots and lots of gems. Sorry. No go. Doomsday indeed.
