to while away the time ... what is a "storybook" event mean? I tried ctrl-F here and guides but didn't hit one. could you point one out? I'm a newbie and it sounds like I'd like to learn about it.

[QUOTE=MoonVillage3;1517417]Time obviously depends on where you live..
my time it's usually 8pm.. that's another hour to go.
Yep, that?s same time as me- now less than an hour 👀 😅.... (and I guess time in SF California is 11 am then... or twelve...)
Hmmm.... 48 min.. not at all that excited... 🙈😂😂😂😂
A storybook event usually has 10 chapters with various tasks to complete. You usually have a window, 3 or 4 days, to choose when to start. It will autostart when that window has lapsed. Whenever you start you have 10 days to complete the chapters. What some find frustrating is that when you finish a chapter you have to wait until the next day to continue. Reset time is midnight PDT (time zone for S8). You can use gems to skip ahead but you will have to wait even longer for the next one. Think of calendar squares, one chapter per square. What is nice is that you can wait to start, come here to the forum for steps needed, and adjust the timing to better fit your real life schedule. If you do get behind, you won't have to wait as the next chapter will start immediately on the completion of the previous one. Some chapters will go quickly. Usually at some point you will have to collect something you have to request from 20 (or more) neighbors. That can be a hangup if you don't have enough active neighbors.
Is that... gold hunt? I hope a monster hunt.
I need to be able to craft two of those Skeleton Pirates to keep for my very own. I need it soooo much.
