Any hints on fishing / mining? Did you have to leave each time you fished to see if you got a flower or not?

For fishing, I do not need to leave because I can see flower in the pond during several fishing.
But for mining, I need to leave because the moss only appear when I leave the mine. So after one mining, I always leave to see I get the moss or not. And repeat to enter the mine again.

Are any of you getting portobello mushrooms from the Gnomes? I got one towards the beginning of the event but that was it. I’m curious if other people are getting them more often.

Also the post about the goal that comes after goal 7 says we have to repeat everything we already made 4 more times...This does not include the terrarium right?

I have gotten a couple of Portobello mushrooms from the Gnome, but more often than not I get the Chanterelle instead...though the most frequent drop is, of course, the Gnome Spice.

As far as I know (or can tell from other posts), it is only the one terrarium. It is separate from the recipe for the coins (which involves everything else we crafted through the goals).

Beware that when fishing for flowers, it seems that you need to have enough storage space for them. I just lost about 5 flowers because of this.

True, if you want both gnomes, you need to make 2 terrariums. However, given how difficult it seems to be for many of us to get Portobello mushrooms, I think crafting 1 may be all we can accomplish in the limited time remaining (unless S8 improves the drop rates).

I give up this 4/7 as from yesterday till today I got only one Portobello only although every 3 hours I run the pig feeding. I sold the gnome spices
to others not waste it.

I mean like gems for each part of coin/terarium recipes?
For example, how many gems we needed for 1 stuffed mushrom, 1 mushrom burger, etc.
Because sometimes if we have some parts, it is more expensive to skip than to buy some parts to complete task.

I think Mr & Mrs Gnome only available to buy by gems.
Now only 5 days left in my farm and I'm still look for 8 portobellos to make 1 terrarium.

So 375 for 5 coins. 375 divided by 5 is 75 so 75 gems per coin.
