Hmm.. Cosmic is not an opponent in this tournament as far as I know but if you're referring to Eclipse then my answer is no I did not battle him. He took out so many of my dragons that I got so pissed I just wanted him gone! So I tapped the ultra bash for 30 gold.
I don't have either of those. Luckily Fire level 10 did it with BB. I don't have any Pink, Black, Gemstone, Diamond, Rainbow, or any of the specials requiring Lvl 40 ( just got to that level).

Yes Lotus is Black. So Green n White colors work wonderfully.
Emerald should work too. Pegasus n Fuzzy are proven Fighters against Lotus.
Next is Sapphire, use Topaz yo bash Sapphire.
Use Pink, Black or Cosmic against Yellow.
Most use Lotus, Night, etc
Aether 4 beat lotus with one Bash.
