Oh well, I won't be able to waste food leveling up 3 dragons. Atlantis, Moonseeker and Island came up in breeding and I am not wasting anymore time breeding 15, 16 and 20 hour failures for a Tales where every dragon's element I have 3+ of. Good luck to all of you, however, in breeding this one.
I got it on 2 out of 3 accounts so far. I find that using just the basic element dragons (in this case, water and forest), works best to get these event dragons.
As for the amount of food needed, I totally agree. I am trying really hard to build my total food on each account to at least 570,000. Then I can complete the Tales with the approximately 285,000 food it requires and still have another 285,000 on hand for the next Tales. Amounts over 570,000 (once I get there!) can be used during the other event types. I had almost 1 million food on mymonta, and I don't know what happened, but apparently I went crazy and used almost all of it a while back (probably in a leaderboard) and now I'm trying to rebuild. Anyway, hopefully that is advice that others can use to always have enough food on hand for future events.
It was worse two years ago when it was close to 400,000 food for just 2 dragons. 285,175 is a lot more reasonable and I'm glad they kept it that way. The only thing they need to get rid of is the common dragon requirement - it takes up too much space on the island and it probably lowers the chances of breeding a super or ultra rare dragon. At last count we've had 90+ commons released in the last 3 years alone.
Three Island fails in a row. I’m done.
