Have a look at the goal again - I believe you need to raise him first, so not a baby bunny anymore and then put him in storage. Storing him will reset any previous 'pets' you did, do you will need to start again if he's still a baby. I'm nearly up to this step myself.... so if that's wrong I'll repost.

If you make 2 of the wondrous tea and then 2 of the soft thread you can buy a rock outcropping to chop. This replenishes your stone and all or most of your coal. But if you don't mind a black flag for stone just chop the rock outcropping for coal.
And I still collect from my mines too, so it's been pretty easy to keep caught up on my supply of coal.

Edit: Well I checked my inventory and found I was 20 short on coal. ( I maintain a certain amount) I had to chop a couple of rock outcroppings and still slightly short. I decided to try my plain regular dragons. I didn't get coal every time, but when it dropped , it dropped two at a time.

So..... collecting coal seems to be hit or miss in most cases. At least in this last expedition for it. Ugh.

Is it a guaranteed drop. I like anything with guaranteed drop.

I managed to make 2 Percival's, and I'm super happy with them (second time I tried something like this, first time it actually worked!)
    Thanks to everyone for helping!

For those searching for coal, I'm having much better luck with the SMALL rock pile. I've been averaging 3-4 coal per pile.

I think both the Armoured Wyvern and the Black Knight (both capped at 1) are essentially 10hr mines.
That?s how they are in my mind and all the drops seem to match.
Pretty sure I have seen coal during this event from both.
But I could be wrong so don?t quote me on that.
