To craft the shard, you need 6 stardust (from trees), 6 moondust (from mushroom patches), 20 jewels. Takes 2 hrs.

What is the collection time for the Moon Flower?

20 minutes. I didn't get any moon dust with my second collection either. Rather annoyed I wasted gems, but I thought the flower was pretty.

If it's got a timer, that means it's a resource item not decor. Hopefully, it will drop the star dust needed but I'm guessing it's not a guarantee either, just like the moon flower.

I've picked both the flower and the rock, neither gave up the goods, only petals and glimmerdust, respectively : /

They both are only supposed to drop Star Dust...which I think is a little odd but...looks like my Kingdom will have to put up with this fungal infection for a little while atleast :P

No, I don't have any mushroom circles out. But the patches are dropping on average 1 moondust per 6 patches harvested.

Circles drop the Moon Dust, thats all I have out.

So I got the first 6 star dust without any problem, built my tower, and since, no star dust. After about 25 energy and a force close, nada. Is it a glitch?!?!

Yep. Chopping trees.

Yellow acer 3/8 and 4/8 (or 10)
Red acer 4/10
White birch 0/10
Blythewood 0/8
Oak 2/8
Aspen 2/6
Crab apple 2/10

It might depend on which trees you were chopping

I bought a Moon Flower because it is pretty, but 3 collections have yielded zero Star Dust.

*My Recommendation: Do not buy the flower if you do not want it for decoration.*

5 collections from Moon Flower and still no Star Dust. Mods please ask team to fix the drop rate.

I chopped a Willow and 1 1/2 Pine trees and only got 6 Star Dust. That is 25 energy for only 6 Star Dust.
Mythic Mushrooms haven't dropped any Star Dust. Red mushrooms haven't dropped Star Dust.

I have chopped 2 Coconut trees (20 energy) and received XP, Coins and Wood. Again, no Star Dust! Don't wast your time watering a Coconut tree!
