I've had to use Ultimate in both my accounts on Gold, then went on to win with Black Knight and Immortal in the next battle hour - just in time for bedtime.

This has been the worse tournament for me and I began losing at round 1. It cost me 114 gold in this account. 24 gold for speeding rounds plus ultimate attacks on Dynasty, Unicorn and Gold. I fought a total of 88 battles to win the 30 rounds....and I have 5 champion dragons plus 3 diamonds - this has got nothing to do with having good dragons or strategy and everything to do with luck !

My other account cost me 60 gold to ultimate Dynasty and Gold and I fought a total of 78 battles.

Congrats and you are right having champions and diamonds is no guarantee of success. I think the tourney would be more satisfying if it was more about strategy and less about luck.
