Stout Axes. can't create more that one

I can't forge any stout axes to complete the cutting it close goal, it's not an option in the magic forge. I see in the threads that there's a bug and its a known issue, what can be done to resolve this? I was able to do it the first time but when I reopened the game the following day it is now back to the cutting it close goal and the option to forge stout axes is gone. I just need 1 more stout axe to finish that goal help pls

The same issue happened to me... But I actually used all my axes successfully and worked with Ivy and was only a few red petals away from that goal! Now I'm back to only one cut and no ability to make more axes... Also, everything I used with Ivy's task is no longer in my inventory.

Please help
