Sure, sometimes a lot of junk just sits there unused. But hey, it's not in the way. And I like the way the buildings look. I do have enough room to accomodate them without bothering me. Space doesn't really become an issue after a certain point, and older players (iOS or android) know that very well.

Just because you can't understand it, doesn't mean that the people's upset mood is unjustified. Myabe you don't care for the game as much as they do...
((Just like I don't really care about football matches (except for my team's and country's games xD), but my boyfriend does.
And I love silver jewellery, but not all of my girl friends do.
    ))

And, excuse me on the note: spending CASH on a game that is supposed to be enjoyed and then see other people get more playability from the game... That's rather unnerving.
So don't try to throw android players down just because you cannot sympathize. That's not very nice... And, yeah. I'm iOS..
I'm not throwing them down, it's just the same story but different day. It's clear they're frustrated but rehashing the same situation over and over and over isn't going to solve anything. TL sees this. They're working towards it. But when you're frustrations turn towards negativity, it ruins the mood of others players. We all have our opinions and thoughts, but if you're becoming negative about this game then clearly you should take a break from it if it's affecting you that badly. You can be an Android user. You can be an iOS user. It doesn't matter.

You're so quick to point a finger at iOS users that they'll never understand until they walk in Android's shoes. Put yourself in TL's shoes, all players. It's a business to them first, before a game. Could you be able to code a game for both platforms and release equal features to both when you're still leaning how to code one? I'm done with this thread as some seem to be focused on one point instead of the whole. It's a game. Point blank. If you're this unhappy about it, stop playing. It's not that hard. Good day.

(Sigh) It's not IOS users that we have an issue with, let's get that straight. I don't know of any Androids who have issues with IOS players. If there are any, I've totally missed it. Who's blaming IOS players?? It's TL we have issues with, because of the way they have handled things. This is our thread to vent frustration and talk and or co-commiserate amongst ourselves about many months of being left behind. It's an Android issue and IOS players have nothing to do with it! The Mods have nothing to do with it! It's not the fault of IOS players and it's not the fault of any of the Mods and I really don't know how many more times we have to say this to "visitors" to our thread.

So someone complains, and that ruins the game for everyone else? Please. -.- if you don't want to read complaints, don't read them. Skip them. That does not affect your gameplay whatsoever.
It does seem to get you bothered enough to tell people they're overreacting and that they should not complain as much because it's just a game, though... You even suggest people should stop playing because they're not having fun.
Hey. This is just a forum, see? Don't wanna read someone's posts? Don't. Why not just cut the root of the problem and stop coming to the frum alltogether?
(Btw I am not trying to be rude... Just using your arguments, slightly twisted around )

Regarding TL: I am one of the first players to admit they're a company and that they have to earn their living. Otherwise there will be no game. And I'm thankful for what I get! Even despite the occasional gold trap.
But truth be told, their (supposed) android team is not working all that well...

Oh well. At least they got pinks and blacks, that was something nice. so they're not completely empty-handed. However, breeding these blacks is a NIGHTMARE!!

Yes actually, I could. I know how to code for multiple platforms and follow a project plan, to integrate a team of specialists for the better of game. I know how to port code from one language to another and do it correctly, and while it may be lagged behind, not that far behind.

So to answer your question...YES and so should TL.

Thanks guys. You know I like to come over to be informed and to show support. I am partially android (I own an android phone as of recently) but even when I was exclusively iOS, I always felt like the injustice bothers me. It just does!!
Besides, everyone should come here now and then to read your rants. Get to know both sides of the tale. This game isn't all about updates and sunshine.
And if more people were able to sympathize and understand, maybe they wouldn't have such sucky attitues to the point of telling you guys you have no right to complain. That's plain "ridonculous"!

Let's be thankful this guy ^^^^ is always around to properly explain things to the misinformed. Thanks once again, tongue!

Yes DS is a biz to them but do they provide enough satisfaction to the android user?
If their employer isn't familiar with the coding then why dun they just hire someone who knows better on it?
I have a android version and a IOS version of DS and I can say that there is a really large difference between the 2 version
If team lava isn't going to show fairness to the android user, I can say that they will really lose big time out with just 1 apple brand of IOS version vs different brand of new phone with android version coming out to the market.
Plus who the hell are you to others to stop playing when it is their choice to choose to play or not

Business = provide enough satisfaction to a customer to the point that they spend money and no more. There are plenty of games who have development arrested or dropped together, they are under no obligation to provide further updates. When you agree to many software licenses including the iTunes and the Google Play Store, you agree that you obtain the software 'as is'.

This is in the Google Terms of Service
OTHER THAN AS EXPRESSLY SET OUT IN THESE TERMS OR ADDITIONAL TERMS, NEITHER GOOGLE NOR ITS SUPPLIERS OR DISTRIBUTORS MAKE ANY SPECIFIC PROMISES ABOUT THE SERVICES. FOR EXAMPLE, WE DON’T MAKE ANY COMMITMENTS ABOUT THE CONTENT WITHIN THE SERVICES, THE SPECIFIC FUNCTION OF THE SERVICES, OR THEIR RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, OR ABILITY TO MEET YOUR NEEDS. WE PROVIDE THE SERVICES “AS IS”.

Google and TL has already waived legal responsibility for providing you with updates altogether. Obviously, Team Lava would want to eke as much money as possible from your pocket by introducing more new features, but considering the fact that they have to manually add items to your account, this already indicates that they aren't fantastic at android coding. I have some sympathy for Android players, but it's good to read the legal fineprint when you want to install the software which you agreed to when you choose to use the Google Play Store. You are independent and freewilled. If you choose to spend money or use a piece of software, it's up to you to read whatever agreement you just agreed to instead of clicking over it and later claiming you don't have the iOS features. Or you'll end up doing the same thing later in life and the mistake won't be as small as a little dragon game.

It just bugs me. TL is a business. They want money. They introduce features to get more money. The end. If they could have ported over a feature, they'd have done it by now.

At the moment, the problem isn't so much that we don't have the updates. It's more the lack of communication from TL and them continually telling us to be patient but nothing else.

On a happier note, I've been getting older dragons I needed whilst trying for dark and pink hybrids. Still none of those, however...

Then they (TL) shouldn't have kept telling us be patient, it's coming, we're working on it. They should have said that they don't have to provide anything and we've got what we've got on their "As Is" game. When you say you're going to do something, when you say you are doing something and don't follow through ... what does that tell people?

First of all, tl makes the implication (by actually calling it the same game) that the Android version is the same game as the IOS version, therefore, Android users have the right to expect the same features that IOS has. Also, nowhere is it stated that Android users must ignore the implied and express invitation from tl to provide feedback via this forum. While downloading the game indicates that you agree to the TOU, it doesn't mean you waive your right to truth in advertising or use of this forum.

As long as tl continues to invite comments, feedback, etc, we all have the right to post said info. This particular thread is clearly titled as Android parity issues, so if you would rather not see comments related to that topic, don't read this thread. Coming in here to tell everyone that they are ignoring the game TOU is wrong - we accept and play or we don't, but none of that has a thing to do with posting comments, feedback, etc here.
