I'm in a dilemna about this tournament. I want to start slow so I'm not battling level 20 dragons for the Terror Night Dragon Tales. But.... the past 3 have been really tough for me and I couldn't finish Dahlia when I started late.

i think my level 13 Dark dragon is a dud. I've tried him 3X in and out of tournies and he's lost every battle. Maybe he needs more coffee?

Given that your win/loss results are similar to mine, my advice is to rush through the tournament as fast as you can, especially since the advent of these tougher six day tournaments. I usually get through them within three to four days, which is in time for when I have to battle for Tales. Good luck! :-)
I see Dark is still working for you and that’s great but I am not yet convinced! Will try it in the normal arena and see how it performs!

(Read Skyharbor's L15 & random's L13 win against OLM so I tried with Dark12. Used Infinity to win. Am playing Bingo so cannot waste time trying with Dark after 2hr in Healing spa.)
and Dark15 lost to Unruly17 on L155 a/c.
Testing Dark so will accept the losses.
Maybe the Royal element in Unruly is strong against Dark, as Black is weak against Royal.
Metal15, the preferred fighter while Dark was healing, won against Unruly17 on L155 a/c.
Two losses with Dark15 within minutes of
each battle on different a/c. Just normal probability returning to balance the winning streak.

3-1 against Dark vs hybrid Champs.
4-7 to Dark overall(pure+hybrid Champs)
I will use Dark against pure Champs.
Against hybrid Champs., there are more suitable dragons than Dark.
Neo Glasswing20 is one of the strongest hybrid Champ yet it has lost on 3 islands(Skyharbor, random). This suggests Rainbow does not affect Dark.
Note: L154 & L155 is the same a/c, it just levelled up to 155 today.

Each caretaker's island seem to have its own Champion bashers.
On some islands,
it is L15 Diamonds on others Metal15 or Passion15 or Light/Air/Fire/Water/Forest15 or some other that you need to discover.
So far Dark works for Skyharbor & myself. Of course we need more Dark vs Champs result from other caretakers.
I think Dark is good against pure Champs.
Light Mother & other dragons with Light element seem to be natural nemesis of Dark.
This makes sense. I also noticed that other dragons that work for some don't work for others. Mine are single element common dragons that work best in the arena.
