OMG I got Ruby!! I'm so happy!! I won my first tournament and got my first birthstone! Thank you to everyone who posted their results and guides- really couldn't have done it without you!
Yay!! After getting stuck for 8 hours on one round and many other rounds including the last I finally got my Ruby Pony. My second tourney won and my first birthstone animal. So happy ��

I've tried four times with water to win round 22 and still no luck. I'm running out of high level water. Any advice?
Ok I give. I've now tried 9 times using diamonds. Lost every time with water zodiac fire and still nothing more than strong attack. I hate that we can only level up to 15 but the game makers use higher leveled animals. It's no wonder I have such a hard time. Not very even fights.
I had to level up an evolve my swan princess to win that level as I got stuck as well. Maybe level up to 14 an animal you have never fought with and try that.

Many times I have lost a round with what I thought was my best Animal and next time used the same one and won.
Got the ruby pony last night and it's on the nest now. Thanks to those that post their results, I do have all the Birthstone ponies so far.
Have you tried frostfang or pyro pony? 22 is ruby pony right? I beat the final ruby pony with my level 15 pyro pony. Good luck!

I have tried both more than once. I've used every level 15 and some 14 and lower.. I have even used all my ultra rare. I'm up to eleven attempts and am out of time. No way can I get nine rounds done in remaining time: ( not happy right now as I have gotten all the ponies since I started.
