Game kicks me out when I pause it

So I'm on hold with Amazon's customer service and whiling away the time playing this game on my iPad. When the CS guy returns, I have to do something on my account, so I pause the game and take care of the online task on my iPad. When I'm done, I go back to the game, but when I tap on it to continue, it "restarts" and docks me the life, and I assume, the boost I was using. Are you specifically trying to get me to stop playing this game?

Unfortunately, this is completely out of our hands. iOS and Android devices automatically close apps that are in the background when they are running low on memory. Switching away to a resource-intensive app, like Safari, may cause the OS to **** Bubble Mania which is suspended in the background in order to free up enough resources to run the app in the foreground. The only advice I have here is to be aware of this limitation and to try completing levels before backgrounding the app.
