I have just sent out on the first adventure and still don't have a request to get the pirate tavern ..... Do I buy it or wait for ch 4..

Based on the steps listed in previous posts, purchasing the tavern is not part of the goals, but collecting from it is. I chose to purchase it early and level it up to level 2 so that it will be ready to collect from immediately when I reach that task in chapter 4.

Ps. Kattkrazie has already posted that the tavern will still work if it's above level 2. I chose to stop at level 2 until I know what resources I'll need for the rest of the chapters. Don't want to use something I'll regret not having later. Lol

Goal 1 - Slay shipwreck trolls (0/6) Found in ponds. Mermaid pond also works.

Goal prize - tri-cornered hat.

Goal 2 - Visit a level 3 pirate tavern. (0/2). (My level 5 worked)

Goal prize - sailor's trench coat

Goal 3 - Craft a pirate's wardrobe. (0/1)
Requires 1 tri-cornered hat, 1 sailor's trenchcoat, 5 bones. Takes 4 hrs.

Chapter 8:

Goal 1 - Visit community kingdoms (0/20)
Goal 2 - Ask neighbors for deckhands (0/40)
Goal prize is ship plans.
Goal 3 - Build a pirate ship.
Requires 1 ship plan, 1 super glue, 50 wood. Takes 8 hrs. Footprint is 2x3.

Level 6 needs 2 ea spellbound block/beam, 10 hearty stew, 4 super glue. gives 660? CP4H

How many levels for the Pirate's Tavern? I am waiting for more super glue to upgrade to Level Six... Glad I didn't spend my only two Spellbound blocks and beams on upgrading anything else!

Would some one from Storm8 please post all the goals and what is needed day by day as usual? There is nothing yet in the hub or game guides. Please tell us where it is posted so we don't have to search all over. Thank you!

Anybody know what the requirements for chapter 5 are?

Don't get hung up on the Dew quite yet... It's very possible/likely if there is a goal it'll only be to get the building to level 5. All buildings got level 6 as a part of the Dew "upgrade" and the new tavern probably has level 6 because of that.

But by all means continue to collect Dew(at least from Ivy Hut) and make the special beams and blocks but don't use them to upgrade anything until S8 advertises a goal requiring it... The Dew is just too hard to come by to upgrade the "wrong" building and it would take years to Max out the new Beams/Blocks.

Wow! Good catch! Thank you! I didn't upgrade because I was out of super glue. (Had 2 each Spellbound beams and blocks). Upgrading could have caused a disaster down the line!
