2nd time I've gotten this notification

On May 24th I received this exact notification about Fashion Story updating content on every Thursday. Unfortunately in May I cleared it without taking a screen shot and content was never updated. I asked about it in another thread and now it's approaching August.
But guess what? I got it again yesterday....and I screen shot it.
I want an explanation. I've basically quit Fashion Story leaving a message on my wall that I'd resume playing if Storm 8 ever started updating it again. My store is basically destroyed with no way to the stop selling of items. I've mastered everything and will not even open FS until there are updates. Even then I don't know if I'll ever be able to catch up filling all the racks that I have again.
What is going on with this game?
