I've been wondering...does battling in the battlegrounds area tire out your animals for the tournament area? What do you guys think? I know the 'animals getting tired' thing is still speculation, but I really think it happens. If they get tired in both areas, I'm going to hold off on the battlegrounds during tournaments.

NEW OBSERVATION: i started battling on the battlegrounds to try to get more food, but i noticed I started losing a lot more in the tourney. Not sure if it was a coincidence...maybe the tourney just got harder at that point, but I'm not gonna take a chance, so I'm stopping all battleground activity while the tourney is going on

I wish a tournament that is tied to the Storybook had an original animal. I don't mind repeat animals for tournaments. It gives people who don't have that animal a chance to get it. But it should not be a requirement for those that already have the animal. If we have the GI Joey already, it should count for the Storybook steps (but it doesn't)

I've already won GI Joey from a 2016 tournament but will do the tournament for cake pieces and food. I've looked at the previous tournament thinking that it was the same tournament as this but it's not. Different opponents in each round. Good luck all

It showed I won a piece of birthday cake after defeating G I Joey in round 3. I went to view in storage but did not receive it. Anyone else have that problem? Thanks.

Ive since read that we are supposed to get the piece of cake for sure. Should I open a support ticket?

This is going to be a painful one. I was originally planning to ignore this tournament, but now I hear we may need the cake prizes for the story book event. So I thought I might as well get started. I've lost on round one twice now! Argh! I just hope I can get through the needed cake rounds in time to complete the storybook.
