Accidentally spending gold

I'm getting sick & tired of inadvertently spending gold! I just spent another 200 because I hit the gold icon when I intended to collect coins. Why isn't there an "are you sure you want to spend gold " message. My other game asks if I'm sure I want to spend diamonds just to make sure it's what we want to do & not an accident. I want to buy a treasure dragon but will never get there at this rate. It seems like such an easy fix when other games have that.
