I am down to the final expansion which requires 80 runes. My mine will only let me collect 70 and then just rewards food and coin. How do I get these extra rune? Unless I am lucky enough on spin wheel. Not likely.

I'm having the same problem except it won't let me get past 76 and I need 80. I'm level 88.
this happens when you are new players.
the only solution is to pay the gems required for those missing 10 runes or wait that spin wheel gives you 10 runes

Have u expanded to everywhere else before the pony? My understanding is that the amount of runes you can hold go up the more you expand up untill it caps at 80. So if you do other expansions first then after so many, u will suddenly b able to hold the 80 runes needed instead of 70.
