Breed a red/blue mix such as Tropic w/water or fire, this cuts out the potential magic. Or Diamond w/athletic, does add in the possibility of a 44 hour crusader fail, or a 1 hour Mercury fail, but they're fairly unlikely.

Thanks for the suggestions. Tried tropic and fire and got 16 hours - lunar ram 😩
Will try diamond and athletic next and keep my fingers crossed 🤞 with my luck I'll probably get the 44 hour one!

On a side note, my level 14 fungi lost to level 11 breeze!

I really feel the odds are stacked against us, or maybe it's just me 😩

12 hour Firestorm for me when I bred Fungi and Firstorm

Mine is a 12 and so far useless in battle. This happened with me to seeker as well. I only have 1 Tales dragon that has ever performed well in battle. So frustrating!

I think of most of my triple-types as specialists. You don't need them all of the time, but when they're needed, they're the best ones for the job. They also help me from becoming lazy and just using Champions all the time. They keep it interesting and they are unique enough to make them collectable.

The main disappointment is when they have the same colors as something breedable that you could never get, and by the time you get that Super-Rare dragon bred, you already have one of these limiteds fed to the max. My upper tiers are getting clogged up with Tales dragons, and as I suggested before, it's more beneficial to have two level 13 dragons than to have a level 14 and a level 12. I wish they'd just have us raise them both to 13.

I got my first with Fire and Water, and my second with the Fungi/Firestorm breed in the event.
