I appreciate the reply, Thank you.
But, WOW! Might I suggest that ****ing the golden goose is a bit short-sighted? Alienating long term players (expansions slow to be released, game crashing, habitat limits slow to be increased, and did I mention game crashing?) seems foolish. Alienating newer players seems like business suicide.

Even though S8 makes an effort to level the playing field for lower level players, those players can't really expect to play with the big kids and get all of the same rewards unless they are willing to bridge the proficiency and preparation gaps with a bit of gold and\or time. The solution is to get more experience, and bigger badder dragons. That's similar to how life has always worked for me. Sometimes we are just not ready for the deep end of the pool.
If S8 wishes to keep allowing those lower to mid level players to feel left out, with level 20 Guardians in Tournaments, and dragon producing tasks that are impossible to overcome with basic buildings and farms, that's their business. That's their business walking out the door, that is.
That certain dragons have weaknesses and the degree of those weaknesses is largely speculation. The only arbiters of fairness who can really make the call, are us. Until you play the game with your own money and time, you are not equipped to judge. Even if the algorithms are spot on, the game is buggy at the best of times, and you never know what kind of hitch might be happening in your particular situation.
That such commonly occurring dragons as Magic and Virtue are a risk at critical junctures, is an oversight. Whether it was predicted and exploited, we may never know. I think the simplest way to dispel such cynical notions would be if they lowered the clocks on those particular dragons to 12 and 16 hours, respectively. Virtue and Magic are just not being good citizens...Night is no angel either.
I've gotten 2 virtues (33 hours, one on the nest & one currently breeding) in a row when breeding w/ fungi for this event.... I hate that we need fungi for like 101 tasks... these long breeding times are causing problems for my preparations...
