I think it's better to upgrade after you craft a lynx. The higher the upgrade, the more horseshoes you'll get every 2 hours rather than having to wait 8 hrs. to collect from 2 lynxes.

It's probably a personal preference thing, but I'm happy with just 1 lynx.

I'm on L3 with 17 pelts and have collected 6 times from Ivy, at least 20 times from L6 mines and 20 times from OT

I have flexible working hours so pretty much check CS once every Two hours... This is really disappointing

Finally!!! My mine and OT house gave me one Lynx each!!! I'm off to buy a Lottery ticket

I'm on level 4 pasture. Just taking things one level at a time. For me the slower pace is a nice break. While waiting for pelts to drop I can replenish petals, make horse feed, gather wheat and carrots, and replenish those. Plus I'm working on some personal goals. I should get to second community prize tomorrow just from collecting from my level 4 pasture.
I am glad I can go at a slower pace for the next 17 or 18 days and not be frantically tapping or chopping away all day long.
But like I said. I needed a break.
I think I'm in the minority.
Adding: Plus from reading the forum I dicided to check my inventory and found a multi colored hedge. So thanks to all who give helpful tips.

Surprisingly, I have now received 3 Lynx from the sparkling mines today, but still only 1 from OT house in the last 4 days. I think he's moved. I'm just getting coins or dire boars from his house now.

Updated to add, OT came through with one. Yay! However, Ivy's hut has been taking a break from spawning. I've received 1 Lynx in the last 3 tries.

From the beginning of this goal I got 8 lynx.
I play really hard and often. I have 89 horseshoes.

I've never complained before, but ...
What happened to the fun goals with the possibility of winning?
