Finally got a over 6 times of clicking on old Thomas' house I finally spawned a lynx but then the game refreshed and when I clicked it again no lynx of course. Also nothing from sparkling mines. Only one spawn from Ivy's hut and that's only once every 12 hours.

I finally got a lynx from Ivy (hooray!), and was so excited I clicked on inventory afterwards to see how many pelts I netted, only to have the game refresh and of course no lynx when I clicked on Ivy's hut (boo!).

I am equally frustrated. I have collectively visited Old Thomas, Ivy and sparkling mines dozens of times but have received only one cat. And to even get that I had to delete and re-instal CS. My odds so far have been like 1:50!!!! Really that cat drop rate really needs to increase. Unless of course this is an attempt to get us to use gems to buy furs...

Just did an approximate calculation: my thought for minimum requirements could be - 865 lassos, 400 pelts & 1475 wild flowers!!
At least we have 20 days to complete.
Does anyone know if crafted Lynx drop pelts? Not sure if its worthwhile if it doesn't.

Assuming these numbers turn out to be right your looking at needing to average 5-6 cats a day to get to level 10. And that's if you are getting four pelts per cat...yep I am not going to stress about this anymore, I have been lucky to get 3 per day and that's only half of what I would need to finish this, and this was the one day I could play constantly. So impossible....Great

Maybe the developers do listen to the forum. The complaints about the last 2 events was that only players with multiple energy sources could compete. There were also complaints (many) about needing 400 parts to craft an animal. So they've given us an event that lower level players can compete as well as high level players. No huge energy drain, not a large amount of pelts to craft the (awesome) animal.

Luck seems to cycle around. I got 6 lynxes yesterday but only 2 today. Those who got zero yesterday might get 6 tomorrow. I also wouldn't be surprised if the spawn rates increase each week after the gemmers have done what we do. There's still a lot of time.

I appreciate all of your contributions to the spawn rate. I've collected only one cat, and now that I see we will need 5-6 a day to get to Level 10, well I guess I'm out. It's too frustrating. I've spawned every other monster repeatedly, sometimes three times in a row after clearing one, so this just isn't worth it.

Is anyone else having a really difficult time getting the lynx to pop?
At this rate we will never get enough pelts to upgrade in time.
Why are the drop (pop) rates so sparse??

3 hours later - another visit to Thomas, the two mines and Ivy and I'm still at 0 lynx 27 hours into the event

Event grand total lynX drops: ZERO

I'm getting wildflowers from larkspur & auranticum & pestemon but not in shrubs--only the flower version of them.

Finally got a lynx from Old Thomas, dropped 4 pelts. That plus 2 from Ivy = grand total of 12 pelts. Many collections from the TWO sparkling mines we're allowed and not a cat to be seen.
