The drops aren't going into my inventory! There is a counter on the top right of screen and all drops go there. They do not go into inventory. * To get the first individual prize, you need to collect 50 Golden Horseshoes. * When you reach 50 Golden Horseshoes, the next individual prize opens up for you and will show you how many Golden Horseshoes you will need for the next individual prize. * Once you reach 500 Golden Horseshoes, you are eligible for any and all of the prizes that are earned by the community (shown on the second row). * The total number of Golden Horseshoes is updated on the counter as soon as they drop, not when they are collected. * Be mindful that upgrading resets the timer back to 2 hours. * A crafted Lynx does NOT drop pelts. We've double checked the drops and don't see any issues that would prevent them from dropping. If you don't already, place multiple Mines in your Kingdom and collect from them. They should be dropping, but we'll continue to keep an eye on them.

I've seen a few posts now encouraging players to inundate Support with tickets about the spawn rates of this optional event. I will continue to fight behind the scenes for better drop rates, but not at the expense of the harm this does to players with genuine problems with their games who reach out to Support for help.

1. You are reminded that the spawn rates have been confirmed as 'normal' and that it is not a bug.

2. Flooding Support will only hurt the other players in the community who are having genuine issues and greatly slow down the process of them getting actual help.

In a nutshell, first first 5 days in the event, it is most likely that the final prize is only be achievable if you are willing to spend gems on pelts. Ideally through buying truck loads of traps.

You need an average 5 lynx a day with an average drop of 5 pelts to make it in time. Not even speaking about the horseshoes prize. I will calculate that later based on this assumption.

I'm fighting lynx but the pelts aren't registering on the game - I've reloaded the game but hasn't made a difference. ANy advice would be appreciated.

Same here. Really curious as to what is going on? Im sure S8 must know what theyre doing...? Im stocked up on flowers & lassos through lvl7, but still sitting on lvl4 for 4days now waiting for the mysterious lynx. There's only a few left in existance you know, and [evidently] theyre inhabitants of some far, far away kingdom. It's been so long since Ive seen one, Ive forgotten what they look like. Must have migrated for the summer. ;}

Has anyone had different luck or a change in luck? Sorry havent been keeping up with the forums.

Some people do seem to be getting better rates. I thought I was in that category but last 2 days have been poor for me again. Sigh.

And number of pelts per lynx have also dropped for me. So hoping it will pick up again.

Judging by your signature, if you are working towards 70 pelts (aka lvl 8), you are doing better than me. I am very slooooowly building up the 45 needed for lvl 6

But I know I am still ahead of others, so feel for them.

Lol, I just noticed your signature (Lynx extinction). We had the same thought! This is similar to my experience with the Lynx as well, it ebbs and flows, like a marriage. In fact, my husband is half Lynx (elusive and almost extinct). Haha, Im totally kidding (happily married 14yrs).

My pelt number has also dropped by 50%. Im halfway thru lvl4 and just waiting for spawns/pelts all the way thru lvl7. So good to know it's more intermittent than hopeless. Thanks for the insight!

Intermittent.. at least that sounds hopeful! So far today, 2 visits to OT, 1 to Ivy and 4 to mines. Only 2 lynxes, one from Ivy and one from mine. Thomas, Thomas, what have you done with the kitties?!
