Food quest: how much?

I'm just wondering what is the most food that this quest ever gives? (don't tell me about what it gave 5 years ago lol) The most I've had from it is 5000. Can you get more?

No, I don't think you can get more than 5,000 and that's very, very rare. On the occasions where I actually get food and not coins it's 125, 500 or 800.

5K but only gotten it twice in two years.

the biggest is 5000 since i started playing 4,5 years ago and all the people who played before me said that it is the biggest since they started playing

It's not nearly enough compared to what is needed to feed these dragons. Ffs I have no problem getting dragons to 10 and even some to 15. Dragon story food costs are just ridiculous. This game needs some serious help in some areas

Since I keep the Mainland Magic Quest going all the time, unless we're having a DT, I get a 5,000 at least once daily. That's definitely the highest the quest provides! I get coins an average of once every 2-3 days. Find it to be a good supplement to farms & mining bonuses of food!

Wow. you must be really lucky. I also keep the food quests going all the time and get 5000 maybe twice a month. My Magic Dragon brings back coins more often than food, and if he does bring food, it's either the 150 (or is it 125? can't remember) or 500 bundle. Pretty worthless when many of my dragons need 5000, 7000, or 12500 apples per bite.

I was just thinking about this earlier: why does the food quest even return coins? There's a quest for coins. Plus, it's not like the food quest produces a lot of food.

completly agreed we should have 250 / 500 / 1000 / 2000 / 4000 / 8000 apples
instead of 3000 coins, 125 / 500 / 800 / 1200 / 5000 apples !

or we should have a 2nd quest outpost
