Don't give up, keep trying for it. I also had 20 fails, if not more, before I got it.

I've used Hammerhead & Kitsune at least 10 times! I've got 2 dens now & both are 11 hrs. This is beyond ridiculous!! Don't think she wants to join Papa on my island!

I've been using all manner of combos - Water & Virtue, Hammerhead & Kitsune, Bubble & Kitsune, Cherry Blossom & Naga, Virtue & Mercury - nothing has worked for me

Bubble and Cherry Blossom worked after 4 days.

Wanted to raise points to get Egypt dragons so put on double boost and went for Mama trying sorted combos. Must have done 20 to 25 ...on my 3 islands and nothing. Did lots of non sped tries before too.
Can't help wondering if my success or failure depends on the powers that be....

I finally bred Mama earlier. I thought it was another dumb Lunar Ram but to my surprise it was a Mama Dragon. Proud parents were Bubble and my go to dragon for breeding new ones, Black Swan. I even got Mama in a habitat with Papa and a baby Tiny Dragon, lol.

It seems like Black Swan is the magic parent for Mama. Unfortunately, I do not have one of those

Got a bingo task to breed with a melody dragon so changed up my dragons to complete. Melody & hammerhead got me my mama

Yay! Finally managed to breed Mama! Water and Virtue. Took a few tries and got a bunch of Lunar Rams and others, but was happily surprised to see the egg this morning! Now Papa Dragon won't be so lonely!
