Exactly and it is an issue for me. I have sent out a request to over 70 ppl just for the gears and I have received zero.

We're checking out the issue with the appliance items not being in the gifting area. Right now, you should be able to request them from neighbors through the appliance, but the team is working on fixing the items so you can gift them.

Thank you for the update. It seems to be only the Big Apple Gear that isnt giftable I am receiving the other two parts as gifts

Be aware that you can only receive 20 a day. Sending out 70 will create a logjam and take 4 days to fill.
Also remember that no one is looking for goals on a Friday, so may not be checking constantly.
