Ugh. Been there, done that.
Just make sure you have 10 cottages are ready and at least 5 farmhouses, plus a couple of libraries and the rest of chapter 1 and chapter 2 will take about 12 minutes. (Ten minutes of that is for the farmhouses to recharge. I didn't have room to place 10! Lol)

My game re-synced about 6 times during the marketplace and cottage collections. Very frustrating and panicky!

Just a little tip....even though you find things for sale in the market (like the frizzly bear trap), it isn't always a good idea to buy them and work ahead. Sometimes these things are goal requirements in future chapters and may not count when you get to that chapter. Just a thought.

Just keep in mind that making floral grow now costs you ten clicks (you have to get them when they're done) and collecting the elixir costs one, so you net +9 not +20. If it takes you more than 9 taps to get the red and purple petals and glimmerdust, it's a loss making the elixir. I also hate wasting material and made so many stone blocks and fancy blocks during the second to last task... but the perceived energy gain is tricky since it's basically energy neutral. I find it is worth doing when you've already stocked up on floral grow and vital extract during downtime. For the pond collections I try to do more water trades in Royal exchange, make lemonade for gem exchange, and make food with various fish.

But a great way to store energy when you have extra between events. Also less energy if you combine 3 plants into one. Then you get 3 or 4 petals for one energy

Sorry if this has been asked or answered already but even though I've started the event I have nothing in my blue book (left hand corner) eg craft bear? My event timer (right hand) is working. I've done a hard reset but still nothing? Is it me or has it not been put on yet as it's not officially started? Confused yup I am lol. Thanks

Hmmm, that never showed up in my inventory. But it did complete, and gave me a pop up saying I'd received a squires book as a reward. I checked inventory to see if book #2 showed up. There was nothing new in inventory, so I hit read, and finished the chapter. Just checked 3 libraries, on the off chance something would drop, but nada.
I really hope we don't need these things in a later chapter.........
