A new thing nobody wanted but the habitat cap is still there and no new expantions.

I 100% agree with you. I don't want my weekend tied up. Especially right on the heels of the birthstone tournament, and the Leaderboard event. I've quit other S8 games for all the back to back and overlapping events. At least with the SB we could start a few days later if we wanted to. I haven't missed a SB, but this may be the first. Hopefully any breeding tasks will be able to get done first time or I'll fall right behind. Not gonna use gems if that happens. So we will see if I can catch up. Just about to try for the chromodile so let's see.

and for all players : leaderboard or not leaderboard, i always keep about 100-135k of apples because i rather finish a storybook than an leaderboard. that's my baseline
and knowing now how s8 send events now, i think that may be i will raise my food stockpile to a little more just in case

I am very disheartened to see that we have to breed an Aquatter. I have been playing FFS for over a year and I still can not breed an Aquatter, so I don't think I will go very far this time and I am not paying 600 gems for it.
