Goals and ovens tied to them are released periodically by the Bakery Story developers, and you will receive them if you are playing a supported version of Bakery Story. The most recent goals were the Book Club goals, which are due to expire tomorrow.

Appliances and items locked by goals will not become available by accessing different versions of this game. However, each Android version of Bakery Story is tied to an update, and you may be missing the update's items in your game if you did not download that version. You can check for different versions and their associated content here - the Cat Cafe version which you mentioned in your post would add a box called the Cat Crate to your game, if you do not have it already
