At this point I'm just going for the community prize. I'm on level five of the tea party and know I will never finish it. Though I at least made sure I got the racoon.

Just coins, seems like we should get invites dropping at least through the event.

    10 sweets needed
    50 spring petals - minimum energy = 50
100 flour - 350 with a good luck of double crops or energy return (150 if you harvest the wheat with elven power .. here the energy return is double helpful) plus 100 for collecting the flour
    150 sugar - 520 (220 elven) plus 150 for collecting
    10 for collecting the sweets

makes a total of 680 ... which is an absolut minimum, which needs good luck by harvesting, elven runes plus a spring petal by every patch of grass (which is not the case .. so easily plus 200)

for a refill of 880 energy (without allis and the wizard schools for the unluck) .. this needs 44 hours (with using also the night energy)

    for level 9

    25 tea settings
    150 red leaves - 150 energy
    250 porcelan clay - 250 in mimimum
50 mermaid scales - collected with clay
    25 for collecting the settings

    15 teas
    180 tea leaves - 180 in minimum
90 water - collected with clay
45 sugar cane - 25 with a good luck of double crops or energy return (15 if you harvest the sugar cane with elven power
    15 for collecting the teas

a total of 645 in minimum (easily plus 720, for a tea leave dropping rate of 20%, plus 250 for a porcelan clay dropping rate of 50%)

makes 1615 energy or 81 hours (with using also the energy from the night) quite 3,5 days only for level nine (without real sleep) .. and without calculating some spring petals which came evtl. on top

.. then .. I calculated the time for red leaves because I only have one red trillium (and are at level 4 at the moment)
I could collect 3 petals per hour .. total of 70 per day with constant collecting every 20 minutes without sleep

    level 9 - 150
    level 8 - 150
    level 7 - 120
    level 6 - 90
    level 5 - 60
total 570 ... or 8 and a half day of constant collecting (I'm hoping of some red petals from the grass patches)

    but the figures are ridiculous
Holy cow, probably will quit after level 5.

I'm up to No Challenge too Steep part 3, the requirements are 35 red, blue or purple petals. I'm maxed out on blue and purple petals, but it only will accept my red ones. Any ideas?

So can we stop pretending that this event is even remotely possible without spending gems. There is zero chance of finding enough energy and these fickle drop rates to meet these insane goal requirements. So there it is. The table will never drop enough teacups to get you to the peacock at the end cause you would need a lvl 10 table to even come close. My table is a lvl 4 and I have 53 teacups....and I have been playing this game like a crazy person trying to make it work. So congratulations gem spenders, you are the only people who will finish this ridiculous mess.

    Speculative math:
What is the most likely energy need for the base resources (new only)
Item Av. Energy Av. Drop Total Energy
    Tea Party Invite: 8 3 275
    Spring Petals: 10 1 900
    Porcelain Clay: 2 1 3050
    Tea Leaves: 2 1 1260
    Total 5485

Just to gather that, you need spend 14 hours a days worth of energy for 20 days in a row! Plus, all the other activities to produce upgrade materials . In short, you need to ONLY use energy for this event and for nothing else. If you have other energy sources, you might do a few other things.

    * have a source of 100 and more additional energy per day: alis and wizard schools,
    * have at least 3 red trilliums to get 690 petals for levels 7-10, or have a full stock of red dyes,
    * have a full stock of flour and sugar, or energy saving sources of them...

So, the energy requirements didn't throw me off necessarily. I think I'm a pretty average level 50: I have Wizard Schools, daily Ali's/Alicolts, and go on Adventures for the extra energy and Gems.

The petal requirement however is the game changer for me.
(I started out with 99 petals and maybe 20ish Red Inks in my inventory)

I adjusted the table (ty btw Shib and others who contributed to it) since I'm halfway to level 7 but going forward:
    L8 -> 25 Dye -> 150 Red Petals
    L9 -> 30 Dye -> 180 Red Petals
    L10 - > 40 Dye -> 240 Red Petals
That's 570 Petals divided by my 17 days left of the event = 33 Red Petals needed (to collect) per day.

I have One Trillium, 2 Multi-colour Hedges, Flower Power Ali's, Autumn Carriage, Romantic Larkspur, Faerie Flowerbed, Witch Alicolt (and also collect from Ivy's Hut and chop tall grass) and there is no way i'll be able to gather 30+ petals per day - everyday - until the event ends (not with my job anyways).

If it were any other type of Ink I could see it being doable for me and I would just have to eat the Energy requirements, but being the rarer Red Petals...

I probably don't have to mention Spring Petals either since I currently only have a handful after dutiful Grass chopping :P

How many frogs does it take to screw in a light bulb?
One frog and 37 light bulbs, slippery hands, ya know.

This would have been a great event if not for the insane requirements.

Zoroak posted a few pages back about this typo...or bug, whichever it is...not sure if anyone has reported in Bug forum yet though...

Side goal part 3 popped up after levelling up to 8 BUT the words are incorrect! They want 35 RED petals and 25 WHITE petals. The BLUE OR PURPLE and ORANGE petals don't count! 3 day time limited goal and reward is probably the 2 sweets previously mentioned.

I'm probably going to jinx myself here, and it is probably pure coincidence, but I seem to get more spring petals if I don't have a raccoon parked.
Was doing this as I had enough invites, and to avoid the energy use, but have changed my tactic for now.
