I agree! I'd love to see the Ancient Egypt theme revived for a Leaderboard event, with a couple brand new dragons as grand prizes and the Mummy, Cleopatra, and Sphinx or Pyramid used as the milestones, as well as the habitat. The old deco could be used as prizes on the wheel. All of those dragons and deco are very attractive and I'd love a chance to try to win them. I have long admired them while visiting friends.

I hope S8 is listening because I would absolutely love to see the Egypt dragons come back. I have an idea on how to bring them back - bring them back as an early summer (or early winter for our friends south of the equator) event like the Heart dragon event back in February.
Hrm....wouldn't it be cool if there were some new Egypt type dragons in the future?

Yes new Egypt types would be very cool !!! Still would be nice to see the older ones and the habitat, not just for new players but for those of us old players who just couldn't get them because of the platform we choose to play on

Would be so awesome! FlatFoot's dropped hints, and they've done new dragons in the Cosmic, Fairytale, Tropic, Royal, Mythic, Dino, Stone and even Valentines types now. It's pretty much just Soccer and Egypt left now.
The Egypt theme would lend itself well to a new diamond hybrid, but to do that they would need the Pyramid dragon (at least) to come back in some obtainable/breed-able fashion. Maybe the result of breeding Stone & Metal? Maybe the Opulent dragon's mystery type will actually be Egypt... it has very Horus like horns.
