So what do I need to use to beat the first one "garnet pony"? I don't have any gem or other special animals. Fire and earth both were weak. Thanks
I used Rock Rino and got a critical hit with one try. Have you looked at everyone else's results that posted here? The last time I battled it I won with a water animal. Maybe try Frostfang. Good luck! Please let us know how you did.Originally Posted by topmom952

Well, it looks like we are split into two camps: those who prefer a tournament, and those who prefer a goal line, or whatever it is called (a series of tasks to complete). I am in the goal line camp for sure. I was looking forward to having some specific tasks to complete. I don't like battles very well because they do depend on luck to a certain degree, and what adult has time to battle every single hour??
@topmom952 I used a water element on my first try and didn't beat the Garnet pony, but the next time I used my French Bulldog and got 2 critical hits in a row using water. It took 2 criticals to finally wipe the little devil out.
I'm actually ok with it being a tournament since I'll be gone a few days .. So I skipped through, failed twice which cost a total of 128 gems, worth it to me and way cheaper than 1000
The pony is weak against water. Hope this helps some one out there. Good luck with the tourney.
