Spent $50 on accident

Today I learned a valuable lesson to turn off touch id. I accidentally managed to buy 50$ worth of gems while not looking at my phone because of it. I have already sent a request to storm8, but I was wondering if storm8 usually honors these requests for refunds or if I am just straight out of luck? Has anyone had a similar experience?
